Spooky October Fun at Oakfield...
Oakfield Community
What have the people we support been up to this October?
Well, they have been busy enjoying the autumnal weather, celebrating birthdays and Halloween, completing in-house activities such as crafts, as well as getting out and about in the local community. They have also developed life skills and attended our seed-to-plate project.
Please see below some of the photos taken over October!

The Cherry Lane Garden Centre, Poddington has kindly donated seeds to support our Seed to Plate initiative. On Saturday, we visited the centre with our donation letter and a poster about our goat walking project. The manager was incredibly welcoming and mentioned she had some seeds in the office if we didn’t mind waiting. A few moments later, she returned with a generous selection of seeds. We asked if we could share our thanks publicly on our website, and she kindly agreed—though she preferred not to have her photo taken. We’re so grateful for this thoughtful contribution and the support from our local community!

A number of people we support recently went on a five day holiday to Norfolk. They enjoyed a picnic on the beach, had fun in the arcade, explored the local gift shops and enjoyed a classic fish and chips along the seafront.
