Tree Planting at Oakfield Community

Oakfield Community

On Wednesday 29th November 2023, Oakfield Community hosted a small event including tree planting, lunch and a tour of the Easton Maudit premises. Attendees included friends of Oakfield, ongoing supporters and as well as new supporters.


Within the rural setting of the Easton Maudit gardens, our visitors kindly gathered to plant a 'Black Poplar' tree, Britain's rarest native tree with as little as 7,000 left in the UK. You can read more about these trees from a post written by the National Trust linked below.
